Nomi is the straightforward answer to "why is this a website?". It has native iOS and Android apps, group chat, and pricing at $15.99 monthly or $99.99 yearly. The help wiki is explicit that it does not produce nude photos, though explicit text is allowed — so if adult imagery is the point, this is the wrong door.
