The short answer: there is no Secrets AI app in the stores

If you have searched the App Store or Google Play for a Secrets AI app and come up empty, that is not a regional thing or a listing that got pulled. Secrets AI, run by Secret Labs Inc., is a website — secrets.ai — and it is web-only by design. The official wiki is blunt about it: any Secrets download you find in Google or Apple stores is unaffiliated.

That does not mean you are stuck with a cramped browser tab. The site installs to your home screen as a progressive web app, which gives you an icon, a full-screen window and push notifications. It behaves like an app because it is one, minus the store.

Why web-only? Part of it is likely App Store rules. Apple's guideline 1.1.4 removes software that is mainly for pornographic content, and an adult companion platform with image and video generation would have a hard time there. The clones, and why they matter

Search results for a Secrets AI download are full of things that are not Secrets AI. The official wiki says plainly that store downloads using the name are unaffiliated. One Google Play developer page tied to the Secrets name even claims the product runs entirely offline — the real Secrets AI is online and needs internet for every message. A 2025 press release announced a new mobile app from SecretsAI, but the current wiki points only to the installable web version. There is also a separate company called Secret Desires, which is not this one.

Red flags to watch for:

• A mod or premium-unlocked file offered as a download
• Ads promising free Moments
• Any domain that isn't exactly secrets.ai
• A page asking for your email password

Secrets AI says companions remember past conversations and evolve, and the system tracks names, preferences and relationship history across extended sessions. Moments are the credits behind the expensive features: images at 50 Moments, 100 at 2K, adult video at 600, a SFW image edit at 50, live audio calls at 50 a minute. Failed images are refunded, and monthly Moment grants do not roll over — so unused credits evaporate. Prices are the same on every device, and there is no store payment taking a cut.

Privacy, honestly

The homepage claims end-to-end encryption and 100% confidential private conversations. The privacy policy is narrower: stored data gets AES-256 encryption, and traffic is encrypted in transit, but the server can read your private chats, and they may feed model training. That is not a scandal — most hosted companion platforms work this way — but the marketing line and the policy do not say the same thing.

Practical habits: use an email that doesn't reveal your identity, keep real names and addresses out of conversations and image prompts, and lock your phone. The home-screen icon is not private on its own. Closing your account wipes chat history immediately, and call audio isn't kept, only transcripts. Deletion requests go to [email protected].

Everyone on the platform must be 18 or older. AI-assisted moderation flags signs of underage users, content involving or resembling minors is banned, and Secrets AI says it has removed content that appeared underage.

One more thing, said without a lecture: an AI companion can feel like real connection, and that is the point. If it starts crowding out sleep, work or friends for more than a day or two, take some time off. The app will still be there.

Is the mobile version good enough for daily use?
