Canceling takes two minutes in a browser, but the refund rules and the account deletion step are where people slip up. Here is the full walkthrough, including the S LABS INC charge and the Moments you keep.

You signed up for a companion app, the novelty wore off, and now there's a charge on your statement from something called S LABS INC. That's Secret Labs Inc., the company behind Secrets AI. Canceling is genuinely simple once you know where to click, but the refund policy is strict and the account deletion step is permanent. This guide walks through both, plus the billing quirks that catch people out.

Everything below reflects Secrets' published refund policy, privacy policy and wiki as of September 30, 2026. Platforms change; if a button has moved, the support email is at the bottom.

The quick answer

Cancel in the browser, not through a store. Log in, go to Settings, then Manage Subscription, then Cancel Subscription. You keep full access until the end of the period you already paid for. After that, the account drops to the free tier, and your chats stay put.

Canceling on the website

  1. Open a browser and go to secrets.ai. Log in with the same method you used at signup โ€” email or social login. A different login can land you in a different account, or none at all.
  2. Go to Settings, then Manage Subscription.
  3. Click Cancel Subscription. You'll be asked for feedback and then to confirm. The wiki says you can cancel anytime without penalties.
  4. Check the subscription page afterward. It should show an end date instead of a renewal date. Screenshot it.

That screenshot matters. Secrets' own support flow targets a three-business-day reply, but if a charge appears after you canceled, a dated image of the end date is the cleanest evidence you have.

One thing that does not cancel anything: closing the tab, deleting the app shortcut, or simply stopping. Billing continues each renewal until you go through the steps above. If you subscribed through the direct subscription page at secrets.ai/subscription, the same Settings path applies.

Phone, tablet and the home-screen icon

Secrets has no official Apple App Store or Google Play app. It runs in Safari or Chrome, and you can install it to your home screen as a PWA. That icon is a shortcut, not a subscription. Deleting it leaves the web subscription renewing quietly. Cancel in the browser first, then remove the icon if you want it gone.

The same instructions work on any device with a browser. There is no separate mobile cancellation path because there is no official mobile app.

If you see a Secrets app in an app store

The wiki describes store-listed Secrets apps as unofficial. They are not the thing you subscribed to, and their billing is not Secrets' billing. If you installed one and it charged you, cancel through the store's own subscription settings:

  • iOS: Settings > your name > Subscriptions > the app > Cancel Subscription.
  • Android: Play Store > profile > Payments & subscriptions > the app > cancel.

Refunds for those go through Apple or Google, not Secrets' policy. And if the app is called Secret Desires, stop here: that's an unrelated companion app, and none of these steps apply.

What the free tier gives you after canceling

Your access doesn't vanish at the end date; it shrinks. The free tier includes 20 messages a day and basic memory, but no Moments grant and no image or video generation. The wiki says chats, characters, memories and generated content are preserved after canceling, so nothing is wiped just because you stopped paying.

If you want to keep any pictures or clips, download them before you do anything more drastic. The free tier won't make new ones.

Moments deserve a note. Unused monthly Moments convert to top-up Moments when you cancel or downgrade, and those don't expire. But monthly grants normally reset with no rollover, so screenshot your balance before you cancel in case the conversion doesn't happen the way you expect. If you ever want back in, the wiki says you can resume before the billing period ends โ€” unless you paid in crypto. Crypto subscribers can't resume after canceling and have to buy a new plan.

Refunds: what the policy actually says

The refund policy was updated April 10, 2026, and it is not generous. Active billing periods are generally non-refundable. There is no money-back guarantee and no partial refund for unused days. Canceling stops the next charge; it does not unwind the last one.

There are exceptions worth knowing:

  • EU and UK first payments: a 14-day withdrawal right applies. You get a full refund if you haven't used paid features; otherwise it's prorated. Renewals are excluded.
  • Billing errors: report within 30 days.
  • Glitched images: reportable for a Moments refund. Failed generations are refunded automatically.
  • Moments purchases: final. Crypto purchases get no refund at all.

To ask, email [email protected] from the address you subscribed with. A bank dispute is the last resort, not the first move โ€” keep your screenshots and give support a chance to answer.

Reading the charge on your statement

Charges show up as S LABS INC. Apple Pay and Google Pay are checkout options only; the billing itself comes directly from the company, which is why the charge doesn't look like an app store line item.

PlanPricing and billing
Premium$19.99 monthly; $49.99 every 3 months; $89.99 every 6 months; $109.99 yearly
Ultimate$39.99 monthly; $319.99 yearly

Longer plans are billed up front. If you paid $109.99 for a year, canceling today stops the next charge but doesn't return the year. For a fuller breakdown of what the plans include, see our Secrets AI review.

Deleting your account

Deletion is separate from cancellation, and it's permanent. You can delete from the account settings page, or request deletion at [email protected]; identity verification may be required. The privacy policy says profile and chat history are deleted immediately. Transaction records are kept for seven years for tax rules.

Two cautions. First, it's undocumented whether deleting your account also stops billing, so cancel first and delete second. Second, some things don't go away: publicly shared characters can't be deleted, and the company may train models on conversations, which lack end-to-end encryption even though data is AES-256 encrypted at rest. If that matters to you, delete rather than just cancel.

Once deletion is done, access ends and it can't be undone. You can create a new account later, but it will be empty.

Bottom line

Cancel through Settings > Manage Subscription in any browser, screenshot the end date, and expect no refund for the current period unless you qualify for the EU/UK first-payment exception or you're reporting a billing error inside 30 days. Watch for S LABS INC on your statement, download anything you want to keep, and only delete the account once you're sure โ€” ideally after canceling, so billing can't outlive the data.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. The wiki says you can cancel anytime without penalties, and you keep full access until the end of the billing period you already paid for. After that, the account drops to the free tier.

No. The wiki says chats, characters, memories and generated content are preserved after canceling, and the free tier keeps basic memory. Only account deletion erases your chat history, and that happens immediately.

Yes, on the website. Apple Pay and Google Pay are checkout options only; billing comes directly from Secret Labs Inc. and appears as S LABS INC on your statement. The store subscription settings only apply if you somehow subscribed through an unofficial store app.

No. Secret Desires is an unrelated AI companion app, and the cancellation steps here don't apply to it. If that's what you subscribed to, check that app's own account settings.

Email [email protected] from the address you subscribed with. The official site also links a wiki and a Discord. If the companion has become your main connection, it's worth considering a break as well as a cancellation.
