How to Cancel Your OurDream AI Subscription (and What Happens Next)

The short answer

Sign in at ourdream.ai, open Profile, find your plan and cancel it there. OurDream says your Premium perks keep running until the end of the billing period you already paid for. Nothing gets refunded automatically, and the account stays alive with all its chats in place.

One thing worth knowing before you start: OurDream AI is web-only. There's no native iOS or Android app, so there's no subscription sitting in the App Store or Play Store to hunt down unless you somehow paid through a store. Deleting the home-screen shortcut uninstalls nothing and cancels nothing. Do it in a browser.

Cancelling on desktop

1. Sign in at ourdream.ai with the email you used to pay. A different login won't show the subscription.
2. Go to ourdream.ai/profile.
3. Find the subscription or plan section and choose to cancel.
4. Confirm. Then reload the page and check the plan now shows as non-renewing.
5. Screenshot that state. It's your proof if a charge appears later.
6. Check your bank or card statement over the next cycle anyway.

Closing the tab mid-way does not stop billing. Half-finished cancellations are how people end up paying for a second month.

Mobile, and the store-billing exception

On iPhone or Android you cancel through the same web Profile in Safari or Chrome. OurDream doesn't distribute a native app, which we cover in our piece on what you can actually install on your phone.

The one exception: if your payment went through an app store rather than OurDream directly, cancel in that store's subscription settings instead. OurDream's own dashboard can't stop a store charge.

Refunds: what the policy actually says

Standard cancellation doesn't refund the rest of the cycle. Unused portions are generally non-refundable, and monthly plans are generally non-refundable once used. The help center is blunter still: no refunds once coins are spent or more than 25% of a product is used.

Refund requests go to [email protected] or through the help center's Request Help option, which asks for your subscription details. Decisions are case-by-case. Crypto payments are final, no exceptions. Yearly plans are the friendlier case, possibly full or partial depending on usage.

The policy also gives a 14-day window to report defects to the same address. That's your strongest footing if something was broken rather than simply unwanted.

Don't file a chargeback before contacting support. OurDream's help center warns that doing so may suspend your account.

What survives a cancellation

Cancelling stops money leaving. It doesn't touch data. Characters, chat history and preferences all stay. What changes is access: generated images, videos and community packs get blurred until you resubscribe. Bought coins don't expire, but without a subscription you're limited to 1 dreamcoin per chat message and you can't create media at all. Save anything you want to keep before you cancel. Blurred media is not downloadable media.

Deleting the account

Erasure lives in the Profile danger zone and is processed in 24 to 48 hours. It permanently wipes chat history, generations, unpublished characters and unused coins. Cancel billing first, or you risk paying for an account that no longer exists.

One caveat: popular public characters may stay active after deletion, since other people's chats reference them.

Deletion is also the only real privacy move. OurDream's privacy policy lets the company use your data to train AI models, even though the homepage claims end-to-end encryption. Those two statements sit awkwardly together. If that bothers you, cancelling isn't enough.

The annual discount is roughly 50%, which is generous until you want out in month two. Users quoted in one Stackademic blog post described regretting yearly commitments and cited discounts around 30% off. The lesson is the same either way: a yearly plan only pays off if you actually stay.

Support channels

There's no phone line. You have email, the help center, the in-app request form and Discord. For a billing dispute, email with your subscription details attached is the cleanest paper trail.

Bottom line

Cancelling is a two-minute job in Profile, any time you like. Refunds are discretionary and get harder the more you've used, so if a defect is the reason, report it inside 14 days. And if the training-data clause is what's pushing you out, cancel the billing and then delete the account. Leaving a dormant profile behind cancels nothing that matters.
